Rocksteady Studios’ Composer/Audio director Nick Arundel and Hollywood film and video games conductor Allan Wilson revealed as special guests
As a Batman fan who loves the Arkham series, I’m very excited to hear from Rocksteady Studios’ resident ‘BATMAN‘ composer/audio director Nick Arundel (‘Batman: Arkham Knight’, ‘Batman: Arkham City’, ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’).

“SCORE TO STUDIO 2”
Game Music Connect returns with both new and previous panel members featuring our previously mentioned special guest composer/audio director for the ‘BATMAN’ video games series, Nick Arundel – to discuss the complex commissioning and delivery process which lies behind orchestral video game music while employing a small army of executives, audio directors, talent agents, orchestral contractors, conductors, musicians, recording staff and implementers. “Score To Studio 2 seeks to pull the curtains back on how this extraordinary machine works, highlighting the specific challenges which video game projects present compared with other entertainment media.” This was a brilliant session last year and hopefully this year we’ll gain just as much if not more knowledge and insight.
Speakers:
Nick Arundel (Composer/Audio Director, Rocksteady Studios – ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’, ‘Batman: Arkham City’, ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum‘)
Allan Wilson (Conductor of ‘Fable‘ and ‘Harry Potter‘ video game series, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Fury’, ‘Elysium’, ‘Nightcrawler’, ‘Cloverfield’ ‘Sleepy Hollow’)
Darrell Alexander (CEO of COOL Music Group)
Chuck Doud (Director Of Music for Sony Computer Entertainment America Worldwide Studios)
Chairs: John Broomhall and James Hannigan
Now in its third year, Game Music Connect is for aspiring and professional composers of all backgrounds and all those interested in learning about the art, science and business of creating today’s cutting edge video game soundtracks.
