Composer Robyn Miller has released the original soundtrack from the video game ‘Obduction‘, which is a spiritual successor of the classic video games ‘Myst‘ and ‘Riven‘. The soundtrack will please both players and listeners with otherworldly soundscapes that span for over 80 minutes.
“It was a thrill working on this soundtrack. I enjoyed improvising Obduction’s themes with the game open in front of me. As I built and refined, I continually referred to the game as a gauge: those visuals kept me remembering that the music can’t just be an expression of the world but, more importantly, an augmentation to the player’s nonlinear journey.”
The soundtrack is currently available on Bandcamp, and can be purchased with the game on Steam.
